The following classes are offered during the Fall 2011.
 
 
 
DANCE

PIANO CLASSES
Music Makers at the Keyboard
(ages K-2nd grade)
Instructor:  Glenda Briley
Tuition: 9 monthly payments of $50.00 each
Class time to be determined
Class meets for 1 hour for 32 weeks
Piano classes start in September and continue through May.
Introductory Piano Camps are offered in the summer.
 
 
 
 
 
 
GUITAR CLASSES
Instructor: Emily Jones
(ages - see below)
Tuition: $100.00 for 9 weeks (includes student book)
Student guitars may be rented for $20.00 per 9 week session
 
Class meets: August 18 & 25; September 1 & 29;
October 6, 13 & 27; November 10 & 17
 
Class instruction includes basic guitar techniques, easy chords, strumming and beginning music reading.
 
Grades K-2nd:  Thursdays 5:30 - 6:00 pm
Grades 3-5:  Thursdays 6:00 - 6:30 pm
Grades 6-8:  Thursdays 6:30 - 7:00 pm
 
 
 
 
 
 
ACTING CLASSES
Instructor:  Darren Butler
Tuition: $45.00 per month for 4 one hour classes
 
Acting I:  Tuesdays 4:30 - 5:30 pm (K-4th grade)
This class introduces the younger student to pantomime, improvisation, creative dramatic play and script reading. 
For non-readers, acting with scripts is a great way to work on reading skills!
 
 
Acting II:  Tuesdays 5:30 - 6:30 pm (5th grade - high school)
Students will study pantomime, improvisation, script reading and many popular acting methods.
This class teaches how to act for theatre, film and TV.
 
 
 
Art classes are not offered during the Fall semester.
